According to Kurdistan Ticket News, the highly anticipated concert tour of renowned Iranian vocalist Homayoun Shajarian, accompanied by legendary composer and pianist Anoushiravan Rohani, was met with overwhelming enthusiasm by music lovers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The performances took place on May 31st and June 1st, 2025, at Art Hall in Sulaymaniyah, and on June 6th, 2025, at Mamosta Saad Abdullah Hall in Erbil, the capital of the region.
These events created a remarkable and emotional atmosphere as two of Iran’s most celebrated musical figures took the stage together, performing timeless classics that captivated audiences and drew widespread attention across local media and social platforms.
A notable highlight of this tour was the exceptional level of online ticket sales. For the first time in the Kurdistan Region, more than 30% of all concert tickets were purchased online, without requiring in-person visits to ticket outlets. This milestone reflects a growing trust in digital services and marks a significant step forward in modernizing ticketing infrastructure in the region.
The concert tour was organized and produced by Tar Production. Majid Abdikia served as the producer, while Amir Farzaneh took on the role of executive director, overseeing the coordination and successful execution of the tour.
The resounding success of this concert tour firmly establishes the Kurdistan Region as a capable host for world-class cultural events, opening new horizons for the growth of the arts and live performances in the region.
